A contender for the throne of Awujale of ljebuland, Prince Abimbola Yusuf, has commiserated with the Nigerian pugilist, Anthony Joshua, on the loss of his two friends in an auto crash on Lagos-Ibadan Expressway.
Yusuf prayed for the quick recovery of Anthony Joshua, who was also involved in the crash.
The aspiring monarch commended the governor of Ogun State, Prince Dapo Abiodun and his Lagos State counterpart, Babajide Sanwo Olu, for visiting Joshua at the hospital.
Yusuf said the governors’ show of concern for the well-being of Joshua was a demonstration that leadership is about the people.
Joshua and three others were involved in a motor accident where his two childhood friends, Sina and Latz died.
Sina, who was Joshua’s strength and conditioning coach alongside Latz, his personal trainer, died instantly in the accident.
