AMMASCO International Limited has become a household name as one of Nigeria’s leading lubricant producing companies. Incorporated in October, 1997 and owned by Alhaji Muhammed Mustapha Ado, AMMASCO has grown to break new ground in the Nigerian automobile industry.

With a mission to become a major oil company in the whole of Africa, manufacturing high-quality lubricants and allied products for diverse consumers and market needs, AMMASCO is on the right path after being tagged as one of the fastest growing lubricant blending plants in Africa.

Ammasco was born out of the need to create a toxin-free environment. Upon the realization that the emission of dangerous carbon from automobiles and trucks was caused by the use of bad engine oil and spare parts in those vehicles, Alhaji Mustapha decided to take action, thereby leading to the birth of Ammasco. 25 years later, Ammasco has been said to produce some of the best quality lubricants distributed across Africa.

With its outstanding quality and fast growth, Ammasco has the potential to be what Nigeria and Africa as a whole need to enjoy cleaner air and a safer environment.

Having over 10,000 employees working three shifts, Ammasco is committed to the employment of Nigerians and has a record of being one of the largest employers of labor in Northern Nigeria. They also have a record of retaining and taking care of their staff regardless of whatever new machinery is obtained to ease the production process.

This is done out of the deep concern about youth unemployment in Nigeria, which has eaten deep into the nation’s economy and caused an increase in the country’s crime rate. Ammasco has proven over time that they derive satisfaction in seeing people earn a living through their contributions to the company, and so they actively intervene in the areas of employment and engagement in a bid to curb the issue of youth unemployment in Nigeria.

Though Ammasco’s devotion to the country is manifested through creating employment opportunities, however, unemployed youth are not the only ones who benefit from it. The Management of Ammasco International Limited has a record of hiring widows as well. They believe that these women who have suddenly become breadwinners need stable sources of income and so they support them by giving them job roles in the factory. By doing this, they are able to pay for needs like food, rent, and their children’s school tuition.

This demonstrates Ammasco’s interest and faith in the nation’s educational system, as does the company’s ongoing renovation and school commissioning projects. Alhaji Ado Mustapha believes that education has an impact on everything we do and on both the business and economic growth of the country.

The future of Nigeria to be a better country that benefits all is the responsibility of everyone. We must all play our roles in our capacity and be the change we want to see.
