Kaduna State commissioner for Internal Security and Home Affairs, Sule Shu’aibu (SAN), has said he could not confirm the reported attack and killing by bandits near Federal University of Applied Sciences, Kachia, in the Southern part of the state.
Speaking with LEADERSHIP on the telephone, Shu’aibu said he had yet to get a briefing in line with such an incident from credible sources.
The commissioner who responded to our correspondent’s inquiry said, “Hello, sir. I have yet to receive briefings from our sources regarding such an incident. I am unable to confirm this at the moment. Thanks”
Kaduna State police command spokesperson, ASP Mansir Hassan, when contacted, promised to get back, but did not.
It was reported that bandits had killed four members of a family during a deadly overnight attack in Kachia town, Southern Kaduna.
The report claimed that the attack occurred late on Friday night in Kachia, near the newly established Federal University of Applied Science, the headquarters of the Kachia Local Government Area of Kaduna State.
