Chevron Donates 2 Ambulances To Yobe Govt

Chevron Nigeria Limited has donated two ambulances to Yobe State government to promote health care services.

The commissioner for Health, Dr Mohammed Lawan Gana, received the ambulances on behalf of the state government.

Presenting the vehicles to Governor Mai Mala Buni, the commissioner said the ambulances would be deployed to the maternal and child referral centre at the University Teaching Hospital.

In his response, the Yobe State governor commended Chevron for the support to the government’s agenda of improved healthcare delivery.

He charged the hospital to make good use of the ambulances for the purposes intended and to ensure good maintenance culture.
