JUST-IN: Woman, 3 Children Murdered In Kano

A woman and her three children have been slaughtered in their home in Chiranchi Dorayi area of Kano metropolis of Kano State.

The incident occurred on Saturday, January 17, 2026, throwing residents into shock and grief.

Community members revealed that unknown assailants slaughtered the woman and her three children. They also threw her little baby into a well.

The police have arrived at the location and have launched an investigation into the matter.

The exact circumstances surrounding the attack, including the time it occurred and the motive behind it, remained unclear as authorities continued to gather information.

As of press time, the Kano State Police Command had not issued an official statement on the incident.

Efforts to obtain comments from the Public Relations Officer of the Command, CSP Abdullahi Haruna Kiyawa, were unsuccessful as he could not be reached at press time.
