Commenting on the condition of victims’ relatives, Dan’azumi said most of them no longer eat food again, “I can tell you that in some families all the members were abducted and are with the bandits in the bush. Many of them have stopped eating food since. Many of them only take water. Many relatives don’t sleep again at night, thinking about the condition of those in the bush with kidnappers. In this condition and situation we found ourselves in, we still thank God and hope for their release,” he said.

However, a security official who pleaded anonymity said, “Security agencies are working behind the scenes to ensure their safe return. I can’t disclose much”

Kaduna State Police Command spokesperson, DSP Mansir Hassan, did not respond to a call over the incident.
