The Olubadan of Ibadanland, His Royal Majesty Oba Rashidi Ladoja, Arusa 1, has met with the Lagos State governor, Babajide Sanwo-Olu, during a courtesy visit to the Lagos House in Marina, Lagos, on Thursday.

Taking to his verified Facebook page thereafter, an excited Governor Sanwo-Olu said the meeting with the Ibadan monarch was ‘meaningful’, and he appreciated the conversation they shared.

Governor Sanwo-Olu wrote: “Today, I received His Royal Majesty, Oba Rashidi Adewolu Ladoja, the Olubadan of Ibadanland, on a courtesy visit at Lagos House, Marina.

“As the paramount ruler of Ibadanland and a respected custodian of our culture, this visit was meaningful. I appreciated the conversation we shared and the spirit of respect it reflected.”
