Kaduna State governor, Senator Uba Sani, has been commended for the completion and commissioning of the 23-kilometre road linking Madauchi to Kafanchan via Madakiya in the southern part of the state.

The principal partner of Gatekeepers Consult and Walin Moro’a, Samuel Atung (SAN), who gave the commendation, described the road as strategic to the development of Southern Kaduna.

He noted that the road connects several communities in Bajju Chiefdom and provides a vital alternative route to the Zonkwa–Samaru–Kagoro axis.

Atung  , who made the remarks at ECWA Gospel Church, Majelisa Street, Television, Kaduna, further said that the road has also boosted local commerce by significantly reducing travel time between Kafanchan and Zonkwa.

While appreciating the governor for the projects he appealed to him to rehabilitate the Kafanchan–Kwoi road, given its strategic importance to Southern Kaduna.

Also speaking at the event, the president of the Kaduna State Council of The Boys’ Brigade, Nigeria, Dr Abraham H. Gaga, praised Governor Uba Sani for his empathy towards the people of the state.
