Popular Nigerian chef, Hilda Baci, has received her third Guinness World Records (GWR) certificate plaque after the organisation confirmed her as a three-time record holder in January.
Announcing the milestone in a video shared on Instagram on Friday, the chef expressed deep gratitude, describing the moment as unexpected and divinely orchestrated.
“Third time. Not because I planned it. Not because I felt ready. But because God allowed it,” she wrote.
Sharing her excitement while unboxing the plaque, Baci said the experience brought back memories of the journey behind the achievement.
“Unboxing this record pack felt like reliving the moment all over again. The nerves. The faith. The sacrifice. The prayers. The belief that something bigger than me was happening.
“I don’t take this lightly. I don’t get used to it. I’m just deeply grateful. Thank you to everyone who has stood by me from the very first ‘let’s try’ to this third ‘officially amazing.’”
LEADERSHIP recalls that Guinness World Records announced in January that Baci, in partnership with food brand Gino Nigeria, had been officially confirmed as a third-time record holder. The organisation recognised that her largest serving of Nigerian-style jollof rice in 2025 also set the record for the largest serving of rice overall.
The latest feat follows her historic achievement in 2023, when she broke the record for the longest cooking marathon, a milestone that brought her global recognition and widespread acclaim across Nigeria and beyond.
