Air Force Chief Commissions Official Residence In Abuja

Chief of the Air Staff Air Marshal Sunday Aneke has reaffirmed commitment to gradually meeting officers and airmen accommodation needs of Nigerian Air Force personnel.

He called on Nigerians to pray for members of the armed forces as they work towards ending insecurity in the country.

He spoke on Friday while commissioning officers and airmen accommodation for NAF personnel serving in Abuja.

He said,  “This occasion reaffirms my commitment to the welfare and well-being of our personnel. Knowing the challenges personnel face regarding the issues of accommodation, especially in Abuja. Providing quality housing is paramount in ensuring that our officers and airmen have the conducive environment to thrive both personally and professionally.

“As members of the Nigerian Air Force, we dedicate your lives to serving our nation, often under challenging circumstances.

It is therefore our duty to ensure that you and your family have a comfortable and secure place to call home. These new officers quarters stand as a testament to our unwavering commitment to the welfare of personnel and a clear indication that we value your service and sacrifices,”.

He said the commissioning of the officers quarters and the air men transit quarters was not merely an infrastructural achievement, “it embodies the essence of teamwork, resilience, and commitment that the NAF as an institution holds there. It is a stepping stone towards further development that will enhance the living conditions of our personnel,”.

He said the accommodation serves as a conducive environment for officers and their families, “fostering unity, peace, and prosperity within our arms”.

“I enjoy you all to pray for the success of the NAF and the Armed Forces of Nigeria, engaging in different theatres of operation as we are working towards ending insecurity in our dear nation,” he said.
