Engr. Ahmadu Musa Kida, President of the Nigeria Basketball Federation (NBBF), has extended his greetings to Muslims worldwide as they observe the holy month of Ramadan. He highlighted Ramadan as a period embodying peace, unity, love, and compassion.

In his message, Kida urged the faithful to embrace piety, self-reflection, and selflessness, seeing it as an opportunity for spiritual renewal that can contribute to national progress. He stated:

“This is a very important month in the lives of Muslim faithfuls. It is yet another gracious opportunity for people to demonstrate love, kindness, and true peace and unity in accordance with the teachings of Islam.”

Kida, who also chairs the Nigerian National Petroleum Company Limited (NNPCL), encouraged well-off Nigerians to support the less privileged, aligning with President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s “Renewed Hope Agenda.” He further called upon Nigerians to use this time to pray for the nation’s peace, unity, and socio-economic development.
