Barcelona has successfully obtained the necessary approval from FIFA to finalise the transfer of Tavares, the England U17 and Norwich winger, according to reports from Mundo Deportivo. After a series of intense negotiations and administrative hurdles, the green light from the governing body has now been received, allowing the 16-year-old to arrive in Barcelona for a medical examination and to sign his new contract.

This marks a significant achievement for Barcelona’s recruitment team, who have closely monitored Tavares’s development for several months as they aim to enhance their youth ranks with top international talent. Tavares will join the ranks of other promising players who arrived during the winter transfer window, including Hamza Abdelkarim, Juwensley Onstein, and Patricio Pacifico, further solidifying the club’s commitment to developing future stars.
