While the Federal Government and the Academic Staff Union of Universities, ASUU, are still embroiled in an industrial stand-off, following an eight-month strike and payment of half salary for the months of October after a court ordered the university workers back to the classroom, offspring of Nigeria’s political elite continually receive uninterrupted education in Ivy League institutions overseas.

A few months ago, on September 20, 2022, Zahra Buhari, daughter-in-law of President Muhammadu Buhari Zara on September 20, 2022, bagged a degree in Architecture from a United Kingdom university, which her mother-in-law, Wife of the President, Aisha Buhari proudly announced it on social media.

Today, November 24, 2022, it is the turn of the son of Governor Dave Umahi of Ebonyi State, who received his master’s honours from the University of Aberdeen.

In a video posted on his Instagram handle, @osbornnweze, he is seen climbing the stage to be decorated.
