Nasarawa United head coach, Mbwas Mangut has reflected on his team’s performance in the defeat to Rangers.
The Solid Miners fell 2-0 to their hosts at the Nnamdi Azikiwe Stadium, Enugu, on Sunday.
Mangut maintained fourth position on the table despite the defeat, and are still in the hunt to secure a continental ticket.
The gaffer admitted that their performance was not enough to earn a positive result against the Flying Antelopes.
“We did our best, but it was not enough to earn us any decent outcome,” Mangut told club’s media.
Nasarawa United will host Ikorodu City in their next game in Lafia.
Ikorodu City were thrashed 4-0 by Bendel Insurance in Benin City on Sunday.
