The Confederation of African Football (Confederation of African Football) has confirmed the schedule for the quarterfinal stage of the CAF Champions League, with the competition set to resume after a brief pause following the draw.
The standout tie will see Tunisian giants Espérance Sportive de Tunis take on defending champions Al Ahly SC in what promises to be one of the most anticipated clashes of the round.
The first leg will be played in Radès before the decisive return match in Cairo, renewing a historic rivalry between two of Africa’s most successful clubs.
Elsewhere, the battle for a place in the semifinals is expected to be equally intense. Morocco’s AS FAR will face Egyptian side Pyramids FC, while South African powerhouse Mamelodi Sundowns meets Mali’s Stade Malien in a tie that could produce an upset. In the remaining fixture, RS Berkane will take on Sudanese side Al Hilal SC.
With only four semifinal spots available, the two-legged encounters promise high drama where even the smallest mistake could prove decisive.
