Ghana’s women’s national football team, the Black Queens, are remaining in the United Arab Emirates despite escalating regional conflicts. The team arrived in Dubai on February 25 to prepare for the Women’s Africa Cup of Nations, participating in the Pink Ladies Cup and several international friendlies.

The UAE is facing instability due to Iranian missile and drone attacks, which have led to heightened security alerts. In light of the situation, GFA President Kurt Okraku met with the team to reassure them and promote calm.
