Nollywood Actor Mofe Duncan Announces Death of Father At 94

Mofe Duncan has announced the passing of his father, Josbert Thomas Kofi Duncan, who died on March 10, 2026, at the age of 94.

The Nollywood actor shared the news with fans in an emotional message on Instagram, paying tribute to his father and reflecting on the impact his father had on his life.

In the post, Duncan affectionately described his father as his “champion” and “sweet old pops,” expressing deep gratitude for the life he lived.

Despite the pain of the loss, the actor said he finds comfort in his faith and in the belief that his father is now watching over him.

“And then my Daddy slept. My sweet old pops has gone to be with the Lord,” he wrote.

“My Champion has transcended. Thank you, Daddy, truly. I will celebrate you. My heart is broken, but it smiles knowing I now have another angel watching over me, and that angel was once my Daddy.”
