Bandits Kill Kebbi Businessman, Abduct Wife

Armed bandits have attacked the house of an engineer and businessman, Sufiyanu Garba in Badariya area of Birnin Kebbi, killing him and abducting his pregnant wife, Zainab.

Shehu Mohammed Yauri, an elder brother to the abducted housewife, revealed the incident to our Correspondent on Friday in Birnin Kebbi.

According to him, the attackers forced themselves into the house of Sufiyanu Garba; killed him and abducted his wife to an unknown destination.

He added that the deceased was on Friday afternoon buried according to Islamic rites at the Birnin Kebbi main cemetery.

Spokesman of the Kebbi Police Command, SP Bashir Usman, confirmed the incident, adding that security personnel have already commenced investigation into the attack.
