Nigerian Afro pop artiste, Charles Chibueze Chukwu, professionally known as Crayon, has released a song ‘Baami’, which was launched across streaming platforms in the early hours of Friday.

The ‘Overloading’ singer in the new release conveys an engaging Afrobeats tune themed on protecting his hustle, enjoying life, and warding off anyone who might disrupt his progress or positive energy.

The song is a mix of Pidgin and English.

The singer and songwriter was signed to Blowtime Entertainment, owned by Mavin Records, in 2019, and on 12 July 2019, he released his debut EP, Cray Cray. Following that, on 19 March 2021, Crayon released the single ‘Jackpot’ starring  Bella Shmurda, off his second EP, Twelve A.M., which was launched on 26 March 2021.

He then released the single “Ijo (Laba Laba)” on 6 July 2022, which peaked at number 5 on the TurntableTop 100 chart.
