Netizens Accuse Hollywood Of Misdirection With The Release Of ‘Pizza’ Movie Trailer

‘Pizza,’ a new movie set to premiere on streaming platforms Hulu and Disney+, just released its official trailer on YouTube.

The film stars Jack, played by Gaten Matarazzo (Stranger Things), and Marty (Sean Giambrone), two outcast college friends looking for a fun night. When they happen upon an experimental drug which promises them an ‘incredible high’, they proceed to take it without attending to the last warning clause, “so long as you take it with pizza, otherwise it’ll blow your brains straight out of your head. And it brings your worst nightmare to life”. The friends, while caught up in mindbending hallucinations, are in a race to grab the nearest pizza they could find to stabilise their world.

While the trailer leaves viewers wondering what they just watched and curious to see more, they are also calling out Hollywood for misdirection.

According to netizens, Hollywood is trying to take the public’s attention away from the recent revelations from the unsealed Epstein files, which have shown that pizza is a code word for Pedophilia. They not only considered it strange that the industry chose this particular time to release this movie, but also a blatant attempt to misdirect and rewrite the aforementioned narrative, such that when people search for a person online, it will no longer highlight it as ‘code name for pedophilia’, but rather bring up the movie Pizza.

Netizens also alleged that this isn’t the first time the industry had taken such a nefarious step, but had taken a similar approach in the past when theories about the word frozen being connected with ‘cryopreservation of Walt Disney, the founder of Walt Disney Studios. It was around the same time that Disney released the Award-winning animation ‘Frozen’, which now redirects every engine search about ‘frozen and Walt Disney to the ‘Frozen’ animation.

But netizens said they will not be deceived a second time. Although some who are fans of Matarazzo said they’d watch the movie for his sake, they refuse to be fooled anymore.
