Civil servants and pensioners in Kwara State, have received their salaries and pensions for the month of March, ahead of the Eid- el- Fitr celebration.

The payment of workers’ salaries and retirees’ pensions commenced since Monday, March 16,2026.

The early salary and pension payments followed the directive given by the state governor, AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.

The senior special assistant to the Governor on New Media, Olayinka Fafoluyi said the rationale behind the payment of salary and pension  was to ensure that civil servants meet their needs during the period of festivities.

” In line with Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq’s longstanding tradition, the Kwara State Government has commenced the payment of March salary to the civil servants in the state to enable them meet their needs, during the forthcoming Eid celebration.
