Dufil Donates Items To School For Visually-impaired

Dufil Prima Foods Plc has donated educational aid equipment to Federal Nigeria Society of the Blind Lagos.

This is in demonstrating its passion, care and commitment to the welfare for blind and visually impaired persons in the country.

Equipment donated include;  Laptop Computers, Scanners, Mobility Cane Guide, Printers and Cartons of Indomie Noodles.

The donation is part of Dufil inspiring corporate social responsibility initiative that seeks to offer practical relief, succour, hope, opportunities and credible platforms to liberate and empower the underprivileged, disadvantaged and hard to reach persons in our society. Speaking on this development, group corporate communications and event manager, Dufil Prima Foods, Mr. Tope Ashiwaju, said Dufil, as a responsible corporate entity, has a history of contributing to the care and development of physically challenged in Nigeria, and thus, touching many of their lives as its believe that in every disability, there is ability.

According to him, “our environment is not favorable for people with sight, not to talk of people living without sight. Therefore, Dufil Prima Foods Plc saw the need to contribute its quota to ensuring that the visually impaired people have access to quality education and equal rights as other citizens in the country.
