2027: APGA Leaders’ Back Anambra State Assembly Aspirant

All Progressives Grand Alliance (APGA) leaders in Idemili North local government area of Anambra State have expressed thrown their weight behind the aspiration of Barr. Kingsley Onochie for the Anambra State House of Assembly.

The aspirant formally declared his intention to contest for the Idemili North seat in the state assembly on the platform of APGA at his hometown, Obosi, during a strategic gathering of members of his political structure, stakeholders of the local government area.

Onochie, a legal practitioner has served as a Legislative Aide, Head of Department, (Monitoring and Evaluation: National Committee on Energy Efficiency, Innovation and Certification) amongst other roles.

Speaking on his aspiration ahead of the forthcoming political activities in the state, Onochie noted that his decision to seek elective office is driven by his passion for service, his extensive professional experience, and his desire to bring effective representation and sustainable development to the people of Idemili north constituency.

Onochie, whose manifesto is focused on education, healthcare, economic empowerment and infrastructure, security and safety, inter-constituency partnership and resource optimization, assured that his representation of the constituency would be qualitative, transformative and all-inclusive.

Speaking on why he chose to pursue his aspiration under the APGA, he added that, “every son and daughter of the constituency will have roles to play in my lawmaking process. My determination is to ensure l place my constituency on the vanguard of positive change and accelerated development”.

He extolled Governor Charles Soludo’s development efforts in Anambra state, buttressing that the Governor has given life to the very ideology that makes APGA a prominent progressive party in Nigeria.

At the event, Presidents-Generals of town unions, party leaders and faithful of the party, stakeholders who spoke with journalists opined that to represent the people, a hallmark of honesty and integrity is imperative and this is what Onochie represents.

The unprecedented crowd of APGA faithful danced and sang praises of Onochie, declaring that the aspirant is the person who the cap fits.
