Vice President Kashim Shettima on Tuesday formally received Zamfara State Governor into the All Progressive Congress (APC), assuring victory for the ruling party in 2027.

The Vice President, who spoke in Hausa, maintained that  President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s developmental strides speak for themselves, and Nigerians can attest that educational interventions, health and infrastructure development confirm the administration’s resolve to alleviate Nigeria’s poverty.

According to him, the People’s Democratic Party (PDP) and the ADC are no match for the APC, stressing that one is dead (PDP) and the other (ADC) is in a coma.

Also speaking differently in Hausa, Zamfara Governor Dr Dauda Lawal and Defence Minister of State Matawalle said there were differences before, but now they are one, and that Zamfara State is APC and is one.

Chairman of the Progressive Governors’ Forum and Governor of Imo State, Senator Hope Uzodinma, hails the resolve of the people of Zamfara to accept the biggest and most democratic political Party, the APC.
