Mutfwang Endorses Leklat As New Long Pan

Plateau State governor, Barr. Caleb Mutfwang, has approved the selection of Miskagam Jerome Leklat as the new Long Pan of Pan Chiefdom in Qua’anpan local government area, with first class status.

LEADERSHIP  gathered that Leklat emerged following a selection exercise conducted by the kingmakers of the chiefdom on March 17, 2026.

Until his selection, he served as the District Head of Bwall in Qua’anpan local government area.

A statement issued by the State Ministry for Local Government and Chieftaincy Affairs and signed by the Commissioner, Ephraim Usman Gar, on behalf of the state government, confirmed the governor’s approval.

The commissioner congratulated the new monarch and wished him a peaceful and successful reign on the throne.
