Ahead of the party’s national convention, Niger State governor and chairman of the All Progressives Congress (APC) Digital and New Media Committee, Mohammed Umaru Bago, met with the committee members to plan to reach 100 million Nigerians.
The governor, at an inaugural meeting with the members, congratulated them, describing their selection as deliberate and based on their proven capacities.
Bago reminded them of the task ahead and the need to be outstanding in the discharge of their duties.
He assured the committee that all logistics needed to ensure the successful execution of their assignment would be provided.
The deputy speaker of the House of Representatives, who is the co-chairman of the committee, Benjamin Kalu, stressed the need for the members to be hardworking and committed to promoting positive narratives about the national convention and the party across all digital platforms.
The panel’s secretary, O’tega Ogra, said the committee’s goal was to communicate effectively to the majority of Nigerians and the global community about the positive impact of the APC on the people, as well as to project the objectives of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda.
He said the committee has a target of reaching 100 million Nigerians and 400 million people worldwide, expressing the belief that it will achieve its mandate through digital tools, monitoring mechanisms and unprecedented approaches.
