Northern Governors Hail Tinubu On 74th Birthday, Assure Loyalty

The chairman of the Northern States Governors’ Forum and Governor of Gombe State, Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya, has reiterated strong support for President Bola Ahmed Tinubu and his reform-driven administration, commending his bold leadership as he marks his 74th birthday.

In a statement issued on behalf of his colleagues in the NSGF, Yahaya, described President Tinubu’s leadership as courageous, purposeful and pivotal to Nigeria’s long-term stability and economic transformation.

The governor noted that since assuming office, the President has demonstrated uncommon resolve in implementing far-reaching reforms aimed at repositioning the nation’s economy and strengthening key institutions.

In the statement by his director general on press affairs, Ismaila Uba Misilli, on Sunday, Governor Yahaya acknowledged that while such measures require sacrifice, they are necessary steps toward securing a more stable and prosperous future for Nigerians.

The NSGF chairman noted that the President’s Renewed Hope Agenda has continued to rekindle confidence and optimism across the country, setting a clear direction for inclusive growth, national cohesionand sustainable development.

He stressed that Gombe State and its people, in concert with the Northern Governors’ Forum, stand solidly behind the President’s vision and are dedicated to driving its full and successful execution.

“The bold and courageous decisions taken by Mr. President reflect a leadership driven by conviction and a genuine desire to secure a better future for the nation. These reforms, though challenging, are already laying the groundwork for lasting progress,” the governor said.

The Gombe governor stressed that the state and the Northern Governors are united in their support for the continuity of President Tinubu’s transformative agenda beyond the current term.

“We in Gombe State, together with our colleagues in the Northern States Governors’ Forum, acknowledge and deeply appreciate your support to subnational governments and your inclusive approach to governance. We stand firmly with you and reiterate our full and unflinching support for your leadership and vision, not only for the present but for the continuity of your transformative agenda into a second term.”

Governor Yahaya prayed for good health, strength and wisdom for the President as he continues to steer the affairs of the country.
