Akwa Ibom State governor, Pastor Umo Eno, has urged the state’s indigenous people living and doing business outside the state to channel their investments back home, as such efforts remain vital to the state’s development and well-being.

The governor made the call during the official unveiling of the Seven Angels Arena on Idoro Road in Uyo, the state capital, describing the founder of the business hub, Archbishop Emma Isong, as being very consistent in the Akwa Ibom project.

He noted that the state has a very conducive atmosphere for investments, adding, “wherever you are, you have to locate yourself back home to start off some business concern, no matter how small.”

“It is, therefore, on this premise, that I strongly support this business and home investment by our renowned clergy.

“We are the ones who will build this State. So, no matter how well you succeed in business, if you fail to replicate that success back home to contribute to the State’s growth, your achievement will be incomplete.
