Nollywood star actress and filmmaker Funke Akindele has expressed excitement over her colleague, Iyabo Ojo’s movie, “The Return of Arinzo,” and its box-office record at the cinemas.
LEADERSHIP reported that the movie
emerged as the highest-grossing movie of the Easter weekend at the Nigerian box office, grossing N104.8m in its opening weekend.
Iyabo Ojo appreciated everyone for their love and dedicated the unprecedented success to her fans.
Sharing a poster of the official record on her Instagram page, Funke Akindele, who also acted in the movie, congratulated Iyabo Ojo, describing the milestone as well-deserved and a strong proof of excellence.
She further expressed her optimism that the movie will break more records and achieve even greater heights, while urging her fans to go see it in cinemas.
