News Central Staff Win Top Honours At Nigeria Awards

Staff of News Central Television have emerged winners in key categories at the second edition of the Nigeria Broadcasting Awards organised by the Broadcasting Organisation of Nigeria.

The awards ceremony was held at the NAF Conference Centre, Abuja, bringing together broadcasters and industry stakeholders from across the country.

Host of Politics HQ, Dapo Adegboye, won the Presenter of the Year award, while Babatunde Koiki of Game On secured a prize for Best Television Station in Original Production in the Business/Drama/Sports category.

News Central Television also received multiple nominations across key categories, including Best Television Station in Original Production, Best Television Production in Documentary or Feature, and Best Television Show.

Two of the station’s presenters were also nominated individually. Dashen Hussaina Usman was shortlisted for News Caster of the Year, while Blessings Mosugu was nominated for Presenter of the Year.

The Nigeria Broadcasting Awards recognises excellence in broadcasting and celebrates individuals and organisations contributing to the growth of the industry.
