Leaders of the All Progressives Congress (APC) in Kwara South have endorsed President Bola Tinubu for a second term in office.
The leaders said the endorsement was to enable Tinubu consolidate on the reforms by his administration that according to them, have already begun to yield measurable economic gains for Nigerians.
A retired director in the National Institute for Cultural Orientation (NICO), Mr Ibrahim Lawal, who read the resolution of stakeholders at Kwara South APC Mega Rally convened in Ajase-Ipo, Irepodun local government area of Kwara State at the weekend, also passed a vote of confidence on the leadership of Governor AbdulRahman AbdulRazaq.
“We endorse the re-election of President Bola Ahmed Tinubu for the 2027 election. The second term of President Tinubu is necessary to consolidate the structural reforms of the “Renewed Hope agenda, which already began to yield measurable economic and infrastructural gains,” he said.
In attendance at the rally were members of the state House of Assembly and local government chairmen from Kwara South and as well as leaders of the ruling party during which the deputy speaker of the state House of Assembly, Hon. Ojo Oyebode, led a motion for the shift of gubernatorial power to the northern zone.
