The Nigerian Air Force (NAF) has released the names of candidates who successfully passed its 2025 Zonal General Aptitude Test, inviting them to proceed to the next stage of recruitment.

In a statement issued on Wednesday by the NAF Director of Public Relations and Information, Air Commodore Ehimen Ejodame, the Air Force said shortlisted candidates are to attend the Selection Board Interview for the Basic Military Training Course (BMTC) 46/2025.

According to the statement, the full list of successful candidates has been published on the NAF’s official recruitment portal, while the interview exercise is scheduled to take place at the Nigerian Air Force Base in Kaduna from April 27 to June 13, 2026.

“The Nigerian Air Force hereby notifies the general public that candidates who were successful in the Zonal General Aptitude Test conducted across 15 NAF Bases on 5 December 2025 are invited to attend the Selection Board Interview for Trades and Non-Tradesmen and Women into BMTC 46/2025,” Ejodame stated.

The Air Force stressed that candidates must adhere strictly to their assigned batch schedules as indicated on the portal, warning that failure to do so will result in disqualification.

“All shortlisted candidates are required to report strictly in accordance with their assigned batch schedule. Candidates who fail to report on their designated dates will forfeit the opportunity to participate in the Selection Board Interview,” the statement added.

Reiterating its stance on transparency, the NAF emphasised that the recruitment process is entirely free and cautioned applicants against making any payments.

“The Nigerian Air Force wishes to emphasise that the entire recruitment process is completely free of charge, and candidates are strongly advised not to make any payment at any stage of the exercise,” it said.

The development followed the aptitude test conducted in December 2025 across 15 centres nationwide, including Sokoto, Minna, Kaduna, Kano, Bauchi, Maiduguri, Yola, Makurdi, Jos, Ilorin, Ipetu-Ijesa, Enugu, Benin, Port Harcourt and Ikeja, which attracted over 20,000 applicants.

Ejodame noted that the recruitment exercise is anchored on merit and due process, underscoring the importance of quality personnel to the Air Force’s operations.

“The Nigerian Air Force remains firmly committed to recruiting the best candidates by merit, as the quality of our personnel is fundamental to operational effectiveness and the successful execution of our constitutional mandate,” he added.
