Farmtech Integrated Services (Farmtech), the agrivoltaics-focused subsidiary of Komponents and Solutions Rack Limited (Komponents), has unveiled Sunwoda Energy in Nigeria, marking a significant milestone in the country’s transition toward reliable, and sustainable energy solutions.

The product launch event, held at the Farmtech/Komponents facility in Lagos, brought together industry professionals, energy stakeholders, and partners to witness the unveiling of Sunwoda Energy’s advanced energy storage technologies designed for residential, commercial, and industrial applications.

Speaking at the event, the marketing manager of Farmtech, Kenny Ogunrombi, highlighted the company’s commitment to delivering innovative renewable energy solutions tailored to local needs. Sunwoda Energy’s product range have been designed for residential, commercial and industrial support applications. As a key player in Nigeria’s clean energy ecosystem, Farmtech specialises in agrivoltaics — integrating solar-powered systems into agricultural production to enhance productivity and support rural electrification.

The launch reinforces Farmtech’s broader vision of transforming traditional systems through technology-driven solutions. “Africa does not lack sunlight, arable land, or entrepreneurial capacity,” the company noted. “What is required is the strategic alignment of energy, agriculture, and innovation—an area where partnerships with Sunwoda Energy become critical”.

The event also showcased the strength of Komponents and Solutions Rack Limited, a leading distributor of tier-one renewable energy components, such as BYD Energy Storage, Victron Energy, Fronius, etc., in Nigeria. With roots dating back to 1997 and a rebranding in 2014, the company has established itself as a high-quality renewable energy solutions provider, representing global OEMs and a world-class second-level repair centre backed by strong technical expertise.
