King Charles III is sharing a message dedicated to Queen Elizabeth on her 100th birthday. The King will do this through a recorded speech celebrating his late mother’s 70-year reign, highlighting her life and legacy to mark her centennial birthday on Tuesday, April 21, The Mirror reported.
This vital speech comes as King Charles prepares to head many events commemorating the Queen’s 100th birthday next week. He would also be renewing his vow of service.
“His message will be one celebration of an incredible life well lived and also an opportunity for him to renew his vow of service to the nation and the Commonwealth, “ a source told the Mirror, adding that the King would also speak to the values that he stands by, one where fairness and the well-being of others matter most.
It is also reported that King Charles will host a special reception at Buckingham Palace to mark the occasion. Senior members of the royal family, including the Prince and Princess of Wales, Prince Edward and Sophie, Duchess of Edinburgh, are expected to attend.
