2027: ECWA Urges INEC To Deliver Credible Elections

The Evangelical Church Winning All (ECWA) has advised the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC) to conduct a free, fair and credible general elections in 2027.

The President of ECWA. Rev. Job Ayuba, made the call at the close of its 73rd General Church Council (GCC) on Friday.

Ayuba, who called on ECWA members to fully participate in the electoral process, further advised INEC to conduct a responsible, transparent and peaceful elections.

According to him, a free, fair and credible elections would promote good governance and provide credible persons the opportunity to serve in public offices.

“ECWA calls on INEC to conduct its responsibilities with the highest standards of integrity, transparency and fairness.

“This will not only shape the future of the nation, but strengthen public confidence in the electoral process.

“While we encourage active participation, we strongly advise all ECWA members to conduct themselves in a peaceful, lawful and civil manner.

“Our members must avoid all forms of violence, misconduct or actions that can undermine the unity and stability of this nation,”he advised.

The president advised eligible ECWA members to contest for various positions, adding that the current political dispensation required men and women of good conscience.(NAN)
