Nollywood actress and filmmaker Mercy Aigbe has reflected on her career journey as she celebrates two decades in the industry.

Sharing a video clip from the film that propelled her into the spotlight, Aigbe remarked that, despite spending over 20 years in Nollywood, she remains committed to growth and purpose. She highlighted her continued evolution and resilience in an ever-changing industry.

“This was the moment that introduced me to the world…
Well over 20 years later, I’m still here, still evolving, still walking in purpose, still becoming.
God did it… and He’s still doing it.
Did you watch this movie back then?” she wrote.

Her milestone celebration comes shortly after she reacted to a fan who dubbed her the “003” of Nollywood. In response, the actress, who is married to Kazim Adeoti, shared a lively video of herself enjoying ‘Fast Fast Comot’, a track by Mavo. This ethos mirrors Aigbe’s enduring presence in the film industry.
