Former First Lady of Imo State and Nigeria’s Ambassador-designate to the Federal Republic of Poland, Mrs Chioma Priscilla Ohakim, has extended her warm congratulations to Ambassador Sola Enikanolaiye on his well-deserved appointment as Minister of State for Foreign Affairs.

Ambassador Enikanolaiye, who until recently served as Senior Special Assistant to the President on Foreign Affairs and International Relations, brings to his new role over three decades of distinguished service in Nigeria’s foreign service. His career has been marked by professionalism, strategic insight, and an unwavering commitment to advancing Nigeria’s interests on the global stage.

In a press statement issued in Abuja and made available to journalists, Lady Ohakim described Enikanolaiye as “a seasoned diplomat, an intellectual of high repute, and a patriotic Nigerian whose wealth of experience will undoubtedly strengthen the nation’s foreign policy framework.”

She noted that his appointment is not only a recognition of his years of dedicated service but also a confirmation of his competence, integrity, and deep understanding of international relations. According to her, Nigeria stands to benefit immensely from his expertise at a time when global diplomacy requires tact, innovation, and strong leadership.

Mrs  Ohakim further expressed confidence that Ambassador Enikanolaiye will justify the trust reposed in him by contributing meaningfully to the promotion of Nigeria’s image abroad, fostering strategic partnerships, and advancing the country’s diplomatic and economic interests.
