Yoruba actress Bimpe Akintunde has confirmed the end of her marriage, sharing an emotional statement with fans on Instagram.

In a lengthy post, the Yoruba film star said she decided to “speak my truth” after deep reflection, prayers and honest conversations with her family. She noted that, having once shared her happiness publicly, she also felt it was important to reveal her current reality.

According to her, the marriage began to unravel before her second child was born. “Before the arrival of my second child… life took a different turn. It wasn’t easy—it came with lessons, tears, strength, and growth,” she wrote.
