Nollywood actress Eniola Badmus has stirred reactions after playfully challenging her colleague and close friend, Funke Akindele, to a boxing match.
Following the buzz from the recent celebrity bout involving Portable and Carter Efe, Badmus took to Instagram to suggest it was time for her and Akindele to step into the ring.
“Funke Akindele, let’s get on the boxing ring. It’s about time. Soso E-Money, let’s get to it. No time. Money has to be made,” she wrote, calling on music executive Soso Soberekon to sponsor the match.
In a related development, media personality Do2dtun also expressed interest in a celebrity boxing face-off, naming singer D’banj as his preferred opponent. He said he would gladly accept the challenge and vowed to come out victorious.
Despite the playful call-out, Badmus and Akindele share a long-standing bond that fans admire. Just last year, Badmus warmed hearts when she publicly celebrated Akindele after her film achieved a N2 billion milestone at the box office.
Over the years, their relationship has evolved from colleagues to close friends, often described as sisters within the industry.
