Some students of the University of Cross River, have blamed the recent death of three students to poor facilities at the General Hospital in Calabar.

The students made the blame during a protest in Calabar on Monday.

A bus in which the students traveled had a head-on collision with a truck along the Calabar-Itu highway on Friday.

The driver and three students of the university died due to injuries sustained in the accident.

The students who went for a football game at the University of Uyo, Akwa Ibom, were returning to Calabar when the incident occurred.

They were however dispersed while taking the protest to the governor’s office following the arrival of policemen.
