He charged them to intensify grassroots mobilisation for President Bola   Ahmed Tinubu’s re-election in the 2027 general election.
The governor, represented by the South-West coordinator of the group and chairman of the Nigerian Ports Authority, Dayo Adeyeye, said the current administration had made notable progress in infrastructure, education and healthcare.
He also highlighted the introduction and expansion of student loan schemes, which he said are increasing access to higher education and reducing financial barriers for Nigerian youths. ‎
The RHA director-general used the occasion to inaugurate 18Â local government coordinators for the Ondo chapter, charging them to intensify grassroots mobilisation and maintain discipline in promoting the President’s second-term bid.
Responding on behalf of the coordinators, RHA State Coordinator Victor Olabimtan described the initiative as a civic education platform designed to bridge the communication gap between government policies and citizens. ‎ ‎Olabimtan said the inauguration marks the beginning of coordinated statewide outreach aimed at deepening awareness of government programmes and encouraging grassroots participation in governance. ‎
‎He disclosed that the RHA would operate through a structured network of party channels, grassroots ambassadors, and information platforms across wards and polling units. ‎ ‎According to him, over 400 canvassers and 25 local units have already been mobilised for deployment across the state. ‎ ‎
He said, “RHA will carry out town halls, market outreach, and community engagements to translate government policies into simple, accessible information while gathering feedback from citizens. ‎
‎”The goal is one message, one direction, and one coordinated mobilisation to ensure Nigerians fully understand and benefit from government reforms.”
‎In his remarks, Ondo State Governor, Lucky Aiyedatiwa, described RHA members as frontline drivers of the Renewed Hope Agenda, stressing their role in sustaining public support for government policies. ‎ ‎Aiyedatiwa urged the coordinators across the 18 local government areas to ensure disciplined, structured, and credible grassroots mobilisation, noting that effective engagement would be critical to securing President Tinubu’s victory in the 2027 general election.
