Gordon Ramsay Reveals The Most Important Lesson He Teaches His Children

Celebrity chef Gordon Ramsay has revealed the most important value he hopes to pass on to his six children – good manners.

In an interview with Fox News Digital published on Sunday, May 24, the 59-year-old ‘MasterChef’ star said manners remain one of life’s most valuable qualities despite costing nothing.

“The one thing I’ve taught them all, brilliantly, are manners,” Gordon said, adding, “The most important thing in life, but they cost zero.”

Gordon shares six children with his wife, Tana Ramsay — Megan, Holly, Jack, Matilda, Oscar and Jesse.

The television personality recently celebrated daughter Megan’s 28th birthday with a heartfelt Instagram tribute on May 16. Sharing a carousel of family photos, he wrote, “Happy Birthday to this beautiful woman, @megan_jane_7. Every day you make me so proud with what you do and how much you do for others, love you so much, Dad ❤️.”

Earlier this year, Gordon also spoke proudly about his daughter Matilda Ramsay, popularly known as Tilly, for pursuing a culinary career.

In another interview with the media in February, while discussing his Netflix series ‘Being Gordon Ramsay’, the chef said Tilly showed genuine passion for the food industry.

“Food, restaurants, this industry, you really need to want it, and Tilly was banging the door down,” he said.

Gordon further praised her decision to attend culinary school in Ireland rather than relying on him for training.
