Real Madrid Plan Record €150m Move For Bayern Star Michael Olise

Real Madrid are reportedly preparing a sensational €150 million (£130 million) bid for Bayern Munich winger Michael Olise as club president Florentino Pérez seeks to usher in a new era at the Santiago Bernabéu.

The proposed move is expected to gather momentum if Pérez secures another term as president in this weekend’s election, where he faces challenger Enrique Riquelme.

Speaking to Spanish media, Pérez hinted at plans to bring a world-class “Galáctico” to Madrid this summer. While he stopped short of naming the player, reports suggest Olise has emerged as the club’s primary target, ahead of other options including João Neves of Paris Saint-Germain.

The former Crystal Palace winger has enjoyed a remarkable rise since joining Bayern Munich in 2024. Under manager Vincent Kompany, Olise has helped Bayern secure back-to-back Bundesliga titles and established himself among Europe’s elite attacking talents.

However, Bayern are determined to retain the France international, whose contract runs until 2029. Honorary president Uli Hoeness recently described Olise as “unsellable”, signalling the German champions’ resolve to fend off any approach.

Real Madrid are expected to be active in the transfer market following a disappointing trophyless campaign. The club have already moved to strengthen their squad with the arrivals of Ibrahima Konaté and Denzel Dumfries as they look to return to the summit of European football.
