Ahead of the 2027 general elections, the National Convener and facilitator of Renewed Hope for Greater Nigeria (RHGN), Hon. Calistus Anyanwu, has called for stronger collaboration among all pro-President Bola Tinubu support groups across Nigeria’s 774 local government areas.

Anyanwu made the call during what he described as a strategic meeting with the Director-General of the Tinubu Support Group (TSG), Dr. Umar Tanko Yakassai, held in Abuja over the weekend.

He said the Renewed Hope for Greater Nigeria movement was not a ceremonial support platform, but a structured political organisation focused on grassroots mobilisation, strategic coordination, and sustained advocacy for the Tinubu administration.

According to him, the group’s nationwide mobilisation drive is aimed at building a strong political structure capable of delivering votes, shaping public opinion, and promoting government policies ahead of the 2027 elections.

Anyanwu explained that RHGN has been actively engaged in educating Nigerians on the policies and programmes of President Bola Tinubu’s administration, including efforts to counter misinformation and highlight government achievements at the community level.

He urged all pro-Tinubu groups to unite their efforts and operate with a common strategy, stressing the need for coordinated messaging and nationwide coverage.

“Let us all unite, all the groups working for the re-election of President Bola Tinubu. Let us begin to synergise, speak with one voice, move with one purpose, and leave no ward, local government, or state unattended in the run-up to 2027,” he said.

In his remarks, Dr. Umar Tanko Yakassai, Director-General of the Tinubu Support Group, commended RHGN for its structure and outreach, describing its activities as timely and strategically important.

He said President Tinubu had demonstrated transformative leadership and was steering the country through necessary reforms that were already beginning to yield positive results.

Yakassai also endorsed the call for unity among pro-Tinubu groups, urging them to maintain a coordinated front and consistent messaging ahead of the elections.

Similarly, a chieftain of RHGN in Imo State, Mazi Franklin Ngoforo, said the group had established a strong grassroots structure following its inauguration in the state.

He said RHGN’s mobilisation efforts had strengthened its presence in the South-East and positioned it as a growing force within the region’s political landscape.

The meeting concluded with renewed calls for early organisation and strategic alignment among groups supporting the President’s re-election bid in 2027.
