A pro-President Bola Ahmed Tinubu support group, Relax Tinubu Is Fixing Nigeria (RTIFN), has launched a nationwide membership registration campaign aimed at mobilising 5.25 million voters ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

The 30-day exercise, which commenced on June 1 and will end on June 30, is targeting youths, women, professionals, market associations, transport workers, persons living with disabilities, community leaders and other eligible Nigerians across the country and in the diaspora.

Speaking at a media briefing in Abuja on Sunday, the director-general of RTIFN, Hon. Ahmed Bala, said the initiative was designed to deepen support for President Tinubu’s Renewed Hope Agenda and strengthen grassroots participation in governance.

He described the registration exercise as a call to Nigerians who believe in national development, unity, peace, security and economic prosperity.

Bala said the movement remains committed to supporting the policies and programmes of the Tinubu administration, adding that citizens should remain hopeful despite the challenges facing the country.

According to him, the registration drive is open to both members and non-members of the All Progressives Congress (APC), with the aim of building a broad coalition of supporters ahead of the next general election.

The RTIFN director- general also commended the group’s founder-in-chief, Mr Seyi Tinubu, for his commitment to youth development and inclusion.

He further praised the Minister of Youth Development, Hon. Ayodele Olawande Wisdom, and the Director-General of the Small and Medium Enterprises Development Agency of Nigeria (SMEDAN), Mr Charles Odii, for their contributions to youth empowerment and economic growth.

National Secretary of the organisation, Felix Arome, said the registration process would be conducted through both online and physical platforms.

He explained that the digital portal would enable the organisation to build a comprehensive database of members, track voter participation, and promote government policies among supporters.

Arome added that the platform would also be accessible to Nigerians in the diaspora.

Also speaking, the South-East Zonal Coordinator of RTIFN, High Chief Engr. Johnbosco Onunkwo, said the organisation had embraced digital mobilisation as part of efforts to expand its reach nationwide.

According to him, the objective is not only to introduce people to Tinubu’s policies but to convince them of the President’s leadership vision.

The National Women Leader of the group, Dr Umma Adamu Sani, assured that women would play a key role in the mobilisation campaign, adding that the women’s wing would carry out extensive grassroots engagement across communities.

The National Director of Contacts and Mobilisation, Mr Lulu Fawehinmi, disclosed that the organisation was targeting a minimum of five million votes through the exercise.

He said registration would be available online and at ward centres, local government offices, state chapters, markets and community centres nationwide.

Fawehinmi added that registered members would benefit from participation in organisational programmes, volunteer opportunities, policy updates and community development initiatives.

The registration campaign, themed “From Promises to Progress” with the slogan “Register. Support. Transform,” marks one of the earliest large-scale mobilisation efforts by a Tinubu support group ahead of the 2027 presidential election.

Political observers say the move signals an attempt to build a grassroots structure, strengthen digital engagement, and consolidate support for President Tinubu’s re-election bid.
