The Civil Defence, Correctional, Fire and Immigration Services Board (CDCFIB) has opened its recruitment portal for the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigeria Immigration Service (NIS), and Federal Fire Service (FFS), announcing the commencement of the next phase of its 2024/2025 recruitment exercise.

According to a statement from the Board, applicants who participated in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) held in November 2025 are now to proceed to the next stage, which includes physical screening and document verification from next week.

The Board , in a statement signed by it secretary, Maj Gen A M Jibril (Rtd.), CDCFIB directed all candidates who participated in the Computer-Based Test (CBT) held in November 2025 to log on to the official recruitment portal between Monday, June 15 and Friday, June 20, 2026, to confirm their status.

“Applicants are required to log in using the Application Number generated at the time of initial registration,” the statement read.

Those shortlisted will be required to upl oad their credentials on the portal and select their preferred date and venue for the physical screening exercise.

The Board urged applicants to carefully follow all instructions provided on the portal, warning that failure to comply could lead to disqualification.

This is even as the CDCFIB also issued a strong warning against fraud, stressing that the entire recruitment process is completely free of charge.

“No fee should be paid by applicants to any individual, agent, group or organization claiming to render assistance with shortlisting, venue allocation, document upload, access to screening venue, or final selection,” Maj Gen Jibril stated.

The Board cautioned the public against fake recruitment messages and fraudulent links circulating online, noting that all official updates will be communicated strictly through the recruitment portal and approved channels.

Reaffirming its commitment to a transparent, credible, and merit-based exercise, CDCFIB said the recruitment process will be conducted in line with extant guidelines governing recruitment into the paramilitary services.

The exercise covers the Nigeria Security and Civil Defence Corps (NSCDC), Nigerian Correctional Service, Federal Fire Service, and the Nigeria Immigration Service.

Applicants have been advised to prepare their original credentials ahead of the physical screening exercise.
