The General Superintendent and Convener of the Deeper Christian Life Ministry, Pastor William Kumuyi, will on 24 June commence a five-day edition of the Global Crusade with Kumuyi in Abuja, with organisers projecting over 200,000 participants from Nigeria and across the world.

The crusade, themed “Christ’s Wonder-Working Power with Pastor (Dr) Kumuyi,” is scheduled to begin on June 24 and 25 at the church’s facility in Abuja before moving to the Moshood Abiola National Stadium for the remaining sessions.

Speaking during a media briefing in Abuja yesterday, the FCT State Overseer of the ministry, Pastor Edison G. Daminabo, said the outreach was part of a broader global vision to spread the message of salvation, healing and deliverance.

According to him, the crusade, which originated in Nigeria, has continued to expand its reach across Africa, Asia, Europe, the Americas and Australia.

Daminabo described Kumuyi as a visionary leader whose ministry has transformed lives through biblical teachings, counselling and spiritual guidance.

He stressed that the programme’s central focus remained the salvation of souls and the transformation of lives.

“The major goal is salvation and the transformation of lives. Healing and deliverance are important, but our focus is to bring people closer to God and help them discover the purpose of life,” he said.

The cleric noted that the world was grappling with conflicts, economic hardship, hunger and insecurity, insisting that divine intervention remained the ultimate answer to humanity’s challenges.

He explained that part of the programme was moved to the Moshood Abiola National Stadium because of other scheduled activities at the venue and the anticipated large turnout of worshippers.

Daminabo disclosed that the crusade would feature evening revival meetings, ministers’ conferences, youth engagements and special sessions for students, new converts and church members.

He expressed optimism that the event would serve as a platform for spiritual renewal and national transformation while projecting Nigeria as a hub for a growing global faith movement.

The cleric also appealed to media practitioners to support the dissemination of accurate information about the programme, describing the press as a critical partner in public enlightenment.

He subsequently invited members of the public, religious leaders, and other stakeholders to participate in the crusade and support efforts to advance the gospel worldwide.
