The Yoruba nation agitator, Sunday Adeyemo, popularly known as Sunday Igboho, has threatened to revenge the killing of a pregnant woman, a man and boy by suspected herdsmen in the ancient city after receiving ransom.
The activists who spoke at the palace of the king of the town during a meeting which was attended by security personnel led the Divisional Police Officer (DPO) and leaders of the Fulani community, issued a two-hour ultimatum to the attackers to release the corpses of the victims and the ransom.
In a viral video on Saturday, Igboho alleged that the herdsmen who had demanded for ransom, killed the pregnant woman, the man that took the ransom to them and the woman’s son.
The activist who claimed that he was speaking on behalf of the monarch and people of the town said they should release the corpses of the victims within two hours or there would be crisis.
Igboho gave the Fulani residents in Oke-Ogun, a two-hour ultimatum to produce another abducted family members or face consequences, as he threatened to wipe off all Fulani people living in the community.
He called on the leaders of the Fulani community to call on the herdsmen to release their corpses and the ransom within two hours or face serious attacks.
Igboho who threatened to lead his men to the forest, said any native who supported the Fulani herdsmen would not be spared.
The development has generated widespread attention, with community members closely monitoring events as tensions rise. Security concerns have remained a major issue in several parts of the country, prompting calls for stronger measures to protect lives and property.
