2027: Gov Yahaya Presents Gombe APC Flag Bearer To Tinubu

Governor Muhammadu Inuwa Yahaya of Gombe State has presented the governorship flag bearer of the All Progressives Congress (APC) for the 2027 election, Dr Jamilu Isiyaku Gwamna, to President Bola Ahmed Tinubu at the Presidential Villa in Abuja.

The presentation followed Gwamna’s emergence as the APC governorship candidate after clinching victory in the party’s primary election ahead of the polls.

According to Ismaila Uba Misilli, the governor’s spokesperson, President Tinubu, who received Governor Yahaya and Gwamna, congratulated the flagbearer on his emergence and praised Yahaya for his exemplary leadership.

Tinubu also expressed confidence in the APC leadership in the state, stressing optimism that the party would sustain its developmental achievements and political stability under the Renewed Hope Agenda.

Speaking during the meeting, Governor Yahaya lauded President Tinubu for providing purposeful leadership that continues to strengthen unity, cohesion and progressive governance across the country.

He expressed appreciation to the President for his steadfast support for Gombe State, particularly in infrastructure development, economic growth, and policies aimed at promoting sustainable development.
