Nigerian actress Eniola Badmus has faced criticism from some fans over her response to a makeup artist who failed to honour an appointment.
The actress said she booked the makeup artist for an important event and sent several reminders ahead of the date. Despite the arrangements, the makeup artist did not show up as agreed.
In response, Eniola took to social media to share the woman’s contact details and urged her followers to contact her and “tell her wetin no good.”
The post triggered a backlash against Eniola Badmus, with many X users criticising her for publicly sharing the makeup artist’s phone number.
Several commenters questioned why she had not shared the contact details of Bola Tinubu despite widespread criticism of his administration.
Others accused her of exposing the makeup artist to online harassment and argued that personal contact information should not be made public.
Some users suggested that such an action could attract legal consequences in other countries. A few even called on the makeup artist to release Badmus’ phone number in return.
However, not everyone responded with criticism. Some users contacted the makeup artist to offer support. Rather than condemn her, they praised her actions and wished her success in her business.
